[Buriram – May 24, 2026] – The Mathematics Department, Faculty of Education, Buriram Rajabhat University, is moving forward with academic and professional preparation by organizing the project “Enhancing Fundamental Knowledge for 21st Century Mathematics Teachers: Knowledge Level” for brand-new students (code 69) from May 23-24, 2026, at the Siriwitayakorn Building, 4th floor.

Professor Dr. Warachaya Thongsaen The Head of the Mathematics Department presided over the opening ceremony and gave a speech to the new students, emphasizing the importance of building a strong foundation in mathematics, coupled with developing analytical thinking skills and adapting to the changing landscape of future education.

Event Highlight: The Power of Knowledge Transfer from Older to Younger Students

The unique aspect of this project is the use of a participatory learning process, which includes: Senior students (4th year) Join us in imparting essential mathematical knowledge to our freshman students. This activity not only helps review and align academic foundations before the semester begins, but also provides a platform for fourth-year students to practice real-world teaching skills and build strong relationships within the department, in line with the #MathEDU identity.
